Join the reunion committee

We are looking for committee members to offer input to guide our planning to ensure the reunion is a success. By joining the committee, you can help inspire others to participate and show support for current students through the class philanthropic efforts.

There is minimal time and effort required, so your participation gets to be fun! We ask that our reunion committee members commit to:

  • Attend meetings leading into Homecoming to provide your input and help us plan the weekend (meetings are held in Tucson and Phoenix and via conference call).
  • Attend reunion events and be willing to act as hosts/hostesses to make your classmates feel welcome.
  • Support the class gift. Philanthropic gifts made to any unit on campus, throughout the calendar year, will count towards the cumulative giving of the Class of 1971. The class of 1969 raised over $2 million! It takes all kinds of gifts large and small, outright or planned to support the world-class institution the University of Arizona has become.
  • Encourage friends and fellow classmates to attend and/or support the class gift.
