Southern Grandeur: American Musicology

October 31, 2020 to November 9, 2020

Experience the hospitality of the South on the American Queen. Begin in Memphis, where you can walk down Beale Street and see Graceland. Discover Terrene Landing’s rich artistic history, see the site of a Civil War siege in Vicksburg, and visit Natchez and its gracious antebellum buildings. Next, explore Baton Rouge’s capitol building or see the USS Kidd, a retired WWII destroyer, before traveling to St. Francisville, which has over 140 buildings on the National Register of Historic Places. Your cruise will conclude in vibrant New Orleans, but first, visit Nottoway Plantation, the largest remaining antebellum mansion in the South.
