India; A Spiritual & Cultural Tapestry

January 4, 2020 to January 17, 2020

We have teamed up with the College of Humanities to offer this customized trip to India. Join Caleb Simmons, assistant professor of religious studies, and Alain-Philippe Durand, dean of the College of Humanities, on a program designed exclusively for the University of Arizona. Admire Bangalore’s varied architecture, then explore the grandeur of Mysore’s palaces and temples. Visit Jaipur, the pink-hued city of the maharajas, and, in Agra, encounter the glorious Mughal legacy, including the exquisite Taj Mahal. Finally, explore Delhi. Throughout, expert insights will enhance your understanding, while unique experiences like a meal in a private home and personal encounters with craftspeople will create lifelong memories.
