This exhibit commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 landing and draws from a new acquisition of papers from Ewen Whitaker, associate research scientist at the University of Arizona Lunar and Planetary Laboratory.

- Learn about the early art of mapping the moon.
- See early books by Copernicus and Galileo.
- Explore moon themes in sci-fi books and poetry.

Curator-led Mini-Tour of the Moon Exhibit
Friday, Nov. 1, 2019, 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Join the museum for a free curator-led introduction and overview of the moon exhibit. Talk with subject matter experts who curated the exhibit. Each mini-tour will run approximately 15 minutes. Space is limited. RSVP required. The exhibit will be open for viewing following the tour.
