Tucson: Boys to Men Mentoring Luncheon
Friday, November 1, 2019, 11:30 am to 1:00 pm
Old Main Silver & Sage Room
1200 E. University Blvd.
Tucson, AZ 85721
The third annual Community Conversation About Boys (CCAB) is a critical event in Tucson for moving forward the work to change the conditions in our community related to toxic masculinity. This annual community forum calls together a variety of empowered stakeholders for an afternoon of lunch and learning, as they hear from boys, mentors, and inspiring advocates from the Boys to Men Tucson Mentoring program about the urgency in our community to build and support social infrastructures aimed at supporting boys in their journey towards healthy masculinity.
In addition to building community awareness and momentum for this crisis and our work, the CCAB collects desperately needed funds to support and expand the SBM program for disadvantaged youth across area schools. Finally, this event inspires men to avail themselves of opportunities to become mentors in the lives of area boys, thereby leading to healthier and safer communities for everyone.
