The University of Arizona Alumni Association, the Engineering Council and the College of Engineering invite you to the 2021 St. Paddy's Day Spring Speaker Event.

Welcome, OSIRIS-REx Mission Implementation Senior System Engineer Anjani Polit!

Anjani Polit leads the OSIRIS-REx Science Planning Team and served as the vice chair of the Site Selection Board. Polit has participated in proposal and operations development for a number of missions, including current roles as science operations manager for the proposed Io Volcano Observer and deputy project manager for the proposed RUSHeS instrument.

Before OSIRIS-REx, Polit was a targeting specialist for the HiRISE camera on the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter and the uplink operations lead for HiRISE. During this time, Polit planned and commanded over 10,000 images of Mars. Polit holds a B.A. in geology from Pomona College and an M.S. in geological engineering from the University of Nevada Reno.

This event will be virtual. There is no cost to attend the speaker event.
