What is your current job and what are your day-to-day responsibilities?
I am the trading team lead for TCI Wealth Advisors, Inc. We are an independent, fee-only fiduciary registered investment advisory firm, focused on empowering purpose-filled lives.

My primary responsibilities lie in the oversight of our firm’s trading processes. Those functions include accurately maintaining the investment allocations for our advisors’ clients as well as refining best practices and pursuing coaching and leadership opportunities within our firm.

As a member of our investment committee, I also facilitate strategic implementation and internal communication for any allocation model updates.

How did your time at the UA prepare you to make networking connections and be successful as a professional?
I continue to be grateful for my experiences in student and alumni organizations on campus, with the Eller College of Management and in other coursework at the UA. I’ve benefited from a team-focused approach to projects and I value the curriculum emphasis on professional communication, prioritization and establishing deadlines to set expectations and get things done. These concepts have a direct influence on the work that I do at TCI.

What is the best piece of career advice you have ever received?
Listen first, meet people where they are, and focus on the "why." These are the mantras that have been given to me by my mentors and teachers, and they continue to help me focus on doing the right thing.
