We invite you to join the Class of 1968 Reunion Committee!
No doubt it will be a special weekend as you celebrate your 50th reunion at UA Homecoming, Oct. 25–27, on the beautiful UA campus.
The UA Alumni Association staff is busy planning lots of exciting events for the class members to participate in including a reunion reception and dinner, alumni luncheon, and a jam-packed weekend of Homecoming fun, including Tents on the Mall, the Homecoming Parade (class members are invited to walk or ride in a golf cart!) and, of course, the Homecoming football game against Oregon. It will be the UA’s new football coach Kevin Sumlin’s first Homecoming game!
The UA Alumni Association staff needs the INPUT and INVOLVEMENT of volunteers to ensure the reunion’s success. There is minimal time and effort on your part — plus, it’s fun to be part of the process!
Reunion Committee Member Responsibilities:
We ask that reunion committee members commit to:
- Attend the class reunion events at Homecoming 2018 and be willing to act as hosts/hostesses to make your classmates feel welcome at the events.
- Encourage your friends and fellow classmates to join you at the reunion, starting now!
- Attend at least one meeting either in person (one meeting will be in Tucson and one will be in Phoenix) or call-in via conference call.
- Make a donation to the class gift in any amount. Gifts can be made to any unit on the UA campus! Last year, collectively, the class of 1967 raised $388,000. It takes all kinds of gifts, large and small, outright or planned, to support the world-class institution the UA has become. All gifts are welcome!
If this sounds like fun to you, fill out our online reunion committee registration form now. DEADLINE TO JOIN THE REUNION COMMITTEE IS APRIL 9, 2018.
