May 15, 2018 to May 23, 2018

France’s Champagne country is celebrated for its namesake wine and beautiful medieval towns. Explore Reims and its Cathedral of Notre-Dame, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Tour the Taittinger estate and sample its famed Champagne. Cruise the Marne River and stroll through the village of Hautvillers, where Dominican monk Dom Pérignon perfected the Champagne-making process. Many World War I battles were fought in this region; visit the site of the Battle of the Somme and Europe’s largest American military cemetery in Verdun.
