The UA Alumni Association hosts the Work, Wisdom and Wealth series as an avenue of professional development for our alumni and the community. The featured speaker discusses their achievements and challenges on their journey to becoming a successful leader.

Featured speakers:

  • Matt Van Horn 

Matt Van Horn is an entrepreneur and the CEO and co-founder of June, maker of the June Intelligent Oven. Previously he co-founded Zimride, now called the ride-sharing service Lyft, was vice president of business at Path, and ran partnerships at Digg.

  • Justin Miller 

Justin Miller is the founder of Pillow Homes, Inc. Miller co-founded Notehall, Inc. and serves as its president. Miller previously served as vice president of product development at Notehall, Inc. In 2011, he oversaw Chegg Inc’s acquisition of Notehall, staying on to become director of notes at Chegg. He is running product at Pillow, is an angel investor and adviser to a handful of Silicon Valley startups.
