The UA Alumni Association, the Engineering Council and the UA College of Engineering invite you to the 2018 Fall Breakfast.

The program will include remarks from:

  • Dominic Boccelli, the new Department Head of Civil and Architectural Engineering and Mechanics
  • Paul Blowers, University Distinguished Professor of Chemical and Environmental Engineering and an Associate Professor of Public Health.

The College of Engineering is transitioning from standard lecture style teaching to a new overall student experience.  Changing instruction from faculty-driven to student-driven allows for co-creation of knowledge, leading to higher retention and success rates for students.  As online courses become more viable, higher education must come up with better methods to engage students in ways that provide value to them.

Come to learn about UA’s new student-teacher interface!
