A total of $55,500 in scholarships were awarded at the Yuma Chapter’s scholarship annual banquet in April. The scholarships were awarded to 36 students from the Yuma area. Students in attendance with family and friends at the banquet expressed their appreciation.

The Yuma chapter has been providing scholarships to UA students, in total about 600 students, approximately $983,000, since 1991. The chapter’s goal is to reach $1 million by the end of the year as the first non-profit organization in Yuma County to provide that much money to local students.
