Harvey Mason Jr.
Harvey is best known as a member of the 1988 Final Four basketball team that included fellow teammates Steve Kerr and Sean Elliott. Harvey has since become one of the top record producers in the industry working with such greats as Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Chris Brown and Jennifer Hudson. His work has won multiple Grammy Awards and he is a trustee on the National Board of the Grammy Foundation. Harvey has also produced music for such films as “Dreamgirls,” “The Help,” “Get On Up” and, most recently, “Straight Outta Compton.” He is currently producing music for the live television broadcast of “The Wiz.” Harvey is proud to serve on the Board of Trustees for the UA Foundation.
Jeannine Sharp Mason
Jeannine graduated from the UA in 1990 with a degree in Fine Arts. She was a member of the University of Arizona Women’s volleyball team from 1986-89. Jeannine is a Tucson native and attended Sahuaro High School. She is the third generation in her family to attend the University. She worked in Tucson with local advertising agencies producing campaigns for Sun Tran, Metropolitan Convention and Visitors Bureau as well as the University of Arizona. Jeannine has been involved with many local charities including the American Cancer Society and Ronald McDonald House and now serves on the Advisory Board of the UA Steele Children’s Research Center.
Trey is a junior at the University and is a proud member of the men’s basketball team. Born in Tucson, Trey was raised in Manhattan Beach, California, and attended Loyola of Los Angeles High School. As captain and MVP of his Loyola basketball team he lead the Cubs to a Mission League Championship and CIF Division IAA semifinal appearance and garnered All-CIF Honors. As part of the UA men’s basketball team he has won two Pac-12 Championships and had two Elite Eight appearances in the NCAA Tournament. Trey is studying economics and sports management and plans to continue working in the basketball field upon graduation.
Mia is a freshman at the University of Arizona and is a proud member of the sand volleyball team. Born in Tucson, Mia was raised in Manhattan Beach, California, and attended Marymount High School. As a member of the Marymount volleyball team she won three Sunshine/Mission League championships and the CIF Division IAA State Championship. As a senior she was captain and MVP of her team. Mia was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer at the age of 12 and has been a shining example to others for her courage and perseverance. She has been a participant and active promoter of the Heroes of Hope Charity, which raises funds for brain cancer research.
