The last month has been quite the whirlwind. With that said, I couldn’t be more excited to be the new director of the Alumni Career Lab. I’m coming to the Alumni Association at a great time and I’m excited about the opportunity to help develop what is already a great department. Being a graduate of this university and also competing on the football field as a student-athlete, I’ve learned what it means to be a WILDCAT. I'm committed to supporting Wildcats through the Career Lab.
As director of the Alumni Career Lab I look to build upon the successful programs we already have for career and professional development, such as the Wildcat Career Network, monthly webinars, Cats in Corner Office and virtual career coaching. These programs have set the foundation for the Career Lab that I hope to build upon. I have identified some additional programs and events we can implement to help broaden our reach to alumni in various stages of their professional careers.
Over the next couple of months, I will meet with companies and alumni who are in a position to hire Wildcats to discuss corporate Wildcat networks and the Wildcats Hiring Wildcats initiative. I’m also looking forward to meeting as many of our Alumni Association members, chapter leaders and current students as possible. So if you see me out at an event, please don’t hesitate to introduce yourself.
After playing in the NFL, owning my own business and working for the Arizona Athletics over the last 10 years, I’m ready to take on this new challenge. To me, Arizona has always been a special place with great people and I’m going to work every day to uphold the high standard of what it means to be a WILDCAT and represent the University of Arizona.
Stay on the lookout for new and exciting things coming from the Alumni Career Lab!
