Annually, the University of Arizona Alumni Association presents this premier event to recognize the achievements and significant contributions of UA alumni from each college.
2015 Alumni of the Year Awards
The 2015 Alumni of the Year Awards ceremony will be held during Homecoming weekend on Friday, Oct. 23 from 3-5 p.m. Join the celebration in the Grand Ballroom South, Student Union Memorial Center.
Each degree-granting college is invited to participate in this annual Homecoming tradition. The ceremony affords the colleges the opportunity to honor, highlight, and profile accomplished alumni during the festive Homecoming weekend.
Deadlines for 2015 Alumni of the Year Awards
March 15, 2015 is the initial deadline to submit nominations. Nominations submitted by this date will receive an awards determination by April 15, 2015. Nominations submitted after April 15, 2015 will be considered by the awards committee on a rolling basis until the final deadline date of June 15, 2015.
No additional nominations for the Alumni of the Year award will be accepted by the awards committee after June 15, 2015.
The following information must be included and uploaded with your submission in order to be considered:
- Two letters of recommendation: one from the dean of the nominating college and the second from another person (see nomination criteria below)
- A separate resume' or detailed biographical statement or information on the nominee
Additional information about the nominee may be included from the Internet and other sources. Please indicate the sources and ensure that the information is both up-to-date and accurate.
